Like other greens, rocket is a very low calorie vegetable; just 100g of fresh leaves provides just 25 calories and also has many vital phytochemicals, anti-oxidants, vitamins, and minerals that can immensely benefit our health. Today rocket is harvested all year around in green houses, but the rocket natural season start to end of the winter to beginning of the summer. In the supermarket or fresh market look for crispy green colour young leaves. Discard any with yellow, wilted, bruised leaves. At home place in the vegetable container of your fridge.
