  5. Jeera/ Cumin : 1 Tea Spoon.
  6. Tamarind Pulp: 1 Tea Spoon.
  7. Fresh Coriander:  Few Leaves
  8. Salt: as Needed.
  9. Sugar: A pinch
  10. Green Chillies: Maximum 2 in Nos.
  11. Coarsely Pounded Pepper: 1 Tea Spoon.

Procedure:

  1. Pressure Cook the Green Gram along with Cumin Seeds and Chillies for 6 Whistles..!!
  2. Mean while, Heat the oil, Chop Onion Finely and fry brownish and add a Pich of sugar and keep it Aside..!!
  3. Now Take the Cooked Green Gram and Chillies, mash well, add enough water to the broth.
  4. Take a Soup Pan, add the Broth, mashed Green Gram -chilly, Coriander, Fried Onions, Salt, Tamarind Pulp and add a Spoon of Rice Flour and boil for 10 minutes..!!
  5. Check the taste.
  6. Finally add Freshly Pounded Pepper and allow to boil for 2 minutes.
  7. Finally Close the lid and let it Settle for 5 min..!!
  8. Serve Hot this season..!!

Tips:

  1. Sometimes, I even choose Aamchur ( Dry Mango)  powder to Tamarind Pulp and tastes Yummy too..!!
  2. Burnt Garlic can be used too..!!
