You’ll need a big batch of Holiday Punch to keep guests happy! After the rise of spiked seltzer this summer, I’m finding more and more cocktail recipes that use spiked seltzer, so I decided to test out my own. This refreshing Spiked Seltzer Holiday Punch brings in seasonal flavors like cranberry and orange without coming on too strong. Mixed with a bit of rum and the spiked seltzer for flavor and bubbles, it’s the kind of alcoholic punch anyone will enjoy. Serve it in a large punch bowl or dispenser and watch it slowly disappear throughout the party!

Cranberry juice is the season’s ultimate cocktail mixer!

Although I don’t normally enjoy cranberries on their own, cranberry juice is the ultimate cocktail mixer. It pairs with so many other flavors and brings in just the right amount of holiday cheer! Although I do not add any spices to this holiday punch, I’m sure it could be a tasty addition. Instead, the juices add plenty of sweetness, which pairs well with the rum. Of course, you can change the amount of rum in the recipe to make it as strong or mild as you’d like.

After discovering this large ornament drink dispenser, I knew a holiday punch was a MUST for the season. I love that guests can see into the dispenser to determine the flavors right away. The orange slices and cranberries are a quick giveaway!

If you love the idea of a holiday punch, but need to keep the drinks non-alcoholic, you certainly can. Simply remove the rum, Triple Sec, and spiked seltzer, and replace it with ginger ale. This should will result in a delicious holiday punch.

Spiked Seltzer Holiday Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rum
  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec
  • 1 bottle 100% cranberry juice*, 32 fl oz
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 3 cans raspberry spiked seltzer (or similar)
  • Pomegranate seeds, optional
  • Orange slices, optional for garnish
  • Fresh cranberries, optional for garnish
  • Rosemary sprigs, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine all required ingredients in a large punch bowl or serving dispenser.
  2. If desired, add garnishes to the holiday punch to develop flavor and decorate the punch.
  3. Serve over ice with a sprig of rosemary and fresh cranberries.

Home Chef Tip: Want ice IN the punch without diluting it? Freeze cranberry juice cubes ahead of time to chill the holiday punch.

*Make sure to use 100% cranberry juice with no sugar added, not cranberry juice cocktail.
