Core De Force

Merry Belated Christmas!!

So, for the last few weeks, I’ve just given up on exercise. I didn’t feel like going to the gym anymore, I felt it was too cold to walk outside, and working out at home just seemed like a drag when I could sleep an extra hour instead.

I’ve been seeing a nutritionist to get a hold of what I’ve been eating and how to maintain a healthy relationship with food. She believes that I Needed that break to realize that I wasn’t working out for the right reasons. I would only work out, knowing that I was essentially “deleting” a few hundred calories, meaning I could eat more. Working out should be something you like to do, or do it because it’s good for you and will help you in the long run.

I needed a change in what workouts I was doing. My friend from college is a beachbody coach, and he lost around 60 pounds doing at-home workouts. I don’t think I need to lose 60 pounds, whatsoever, but I would like to start a Program to help me find a love for working out, in a new way. So, he told me about this program called Core De Force. He said it was good because it was more moderate, whereas he’s doing insanity, and it’s basically exactly what it sounds like – insane. I was all for it.

Today, I started at “Day 1” – MMA Speed. It reminded me of the kickboxing classes I used to take. It didn’t involve any equipment, which was nice, but I easily worked up a sweat. I’m going to document my progress on here and hope I find what I’m looking for with this program.
