Rosemary & Cheese Biscuits

The Trader Rater Rating: 4.375

Review Summary: We didn't like these Biscuits. The rosemary was far too aggressive and overwhelming for our tastes.

Full Review:

We love meat and cheese plates (even though we can never pronounce charcuterie), so we’re always on the hunt for new additions to add to our cutting board.

First off, the texture on these biscuits is far too crumbly and light – they are so delicate they barely hold together. But truthfully, texture is the least of their problems.

The rosemary is far too powerful, and it does not complement the sharpness of the cheeses – it just kind of sits on top. Rosemary is meant to be applied as a “hint” – this is more of a punch in the mouth.

Also, if we’re being picky, the cheddar/parmesan flavor was a bit unrefined as well – not unlike a Pepperidge Farm Goldfish.

All told, we don’t recommend these biscuits. Unless you want to bring them to a dinner party so you can sit back and snicker at your friends’ reactions to the surprisingly pungent, disjointed flavor.
