Palak Paneer
          Palak Paneer is green colored, smooth, creamy North Indian vegetarian dish. It is made from Spinach (Palak) puree, Cottage cheese, fresh cream, garlic and spices. Palak Paneeris one of the most popular Paneer recipe. It gives great taste with Roti, Paratha, Naan, Rice.

Ingredients:

          Palak(spinach) – 2 bunch
          Paneer(cottage Cheese) – 200 gms
          Onion – 3
          Tomato – 2
          Garlicpaste – 1 ts
          Turmeric powder – ¼ ts
          Red chili powder – 1 ts
          Coriander powder – 1 ts
          Cumin powder – ½ ts
          Garam masala – 1 ts
          Salt – to taste
          Oil – 2 tbs
          Butter – 1 tbs
          Fresh Cream – 1 tbs

Method:

  1. Grind 2 the onions and 1 chop finely.
  2. Grind the tomato.
  3. Remove stems, wash thoroughly and Boil palak, drain access water and grind.
  4. Cut the paneer in small square pieces.
  5. Heat oil and butter in a pan.
  6. Add 1 finely chopped onion to pan and saute till transparent.
  7. Add onion paste and cook till oil separated.
  8. Add tomato puree and cook till oil separated.
  9. Add garlic paste.
  10. Add Palak puree and mix well.
  11. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, garam masala, mix well and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
  12. Add paneer and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  13. Add Fresh cream and mix well.
  14. Easy to make and healthy to eat PALAK PANEER is ready to serve.

Serving Tip:

Serve hot with Lachcha Paratha, Roti, Chapatti, Naan.
