Tandoori Spice Mix

Here is a simple and vibrant way to spice up any meal. You can use this tandoori spice mix on chicken, vegetables, lentils, beans, and fish. You can use it as a dry rub or combine it with plain yogurt or coconut milk and lemon juice as a true tandoori inspired meal without the need for a tandoori oven. A standard barbecue grill will do just fine.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Sweet Paprika
  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground corriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl or container. Store for later or sprinkle over meat, fish, beans, lentils, veggies and roast for a delicious flavorful meal.
