Poha Chivda
Ingredients :

For 1 kgIngredients :
- 1 kg thin poha
- 1/4 kilo peanuts
- 100 gm fried gram (chana dal)
- 2 cup dry coconut thin slices
- 1 cup garlic cloves
- 25 gm mustard seeds
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 100 gm green chili
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- 200 gm oil
- Heat a pan and dry roast poha on low flame until it is crisp.
- Wash and dry pat green chilies, curry leaves. Cut the green chilies into long strips.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry peanuts, coconut slices and chana dal seperately. Remove it in a plate.
- Now in the same oil, fry garlic cloves till golden. Add green chilies, mustard seeds, curry leaves and turmeric powder. Cook for 2 minutes. Let it come to room temperature.
- Add the above fried ingredients in the poha and mix well.
- Add sugar and salt and mix well.
- Cover the mixture and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
- Allow the chivda to cool down to room temperature.
- Store it in air tight container.
