Read Garlic Bread Rolls in Marathi
Ingredients :- 1 & 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 2 tsp all purpose flour (maida)
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 2/3 cup warm water
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp oil
- salt, to taste
For garlic spread :
- 2 tsp salted butter
- 6 garlic cloves, finely crushed
- Pinch of carom seeds
- Salt as required
- 1 green chilli, paste
- Black pepper powder, as reuired
- 1/4 tsp dry oregano
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp coriander leaves, chopped
Recipe :
- Mix sugar and yeast in warm water. Mix well and keep it aside for 10-12 minutes
- Once the yeast mixture bubbled and foamy, add wheat flour, maida, salt and oil. Mix well and knead it to a soft and smooth dough.
- Keep the dough covered with muslin cloth or plastic paper for 1 hour. The dough should have raised well in the time.
- Beat the butter till light and fluffy. Add all spices mentioned under ' garlic spread' and mix well. This is your garlic butter.
- Now knead the dount once again with 1/2 tsp of oil. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
- Roll the dough into a chapati for about 1/2 inch thickness to form a rectangle/square. Dust flour if required.
- Spread the garlic butter on the rolled dough evenly. Roll the dough till the end gently and firmly.
- Repeat the same procedure for another part of the dough.
- Both the rolls are ready to cut.
- Cut the dough from centre then equally into 3 rolls.
- Grease a pan where all the 8 rolls can have place. Put the rolls in the pan and spread the remaiming garlic butter on the top of all the rolls.
- Cover the pan and keep it for 30 minutes to raise the rolls.
- Bake the rolls in a preheat oven for 35 minutes at 180 degrees c until the top of bread turns brown.
- Serve the garlic bread rolls with tea or coffee.
