Kesar Pista Ice-Cream

Kesar Pista Ice-Cream with a touch of elaichi in it is a home made Ice Cream. Very easy to make at home and loved by kids. I have tried myself and now ask you people to try at home and do let me know how you liked it


Ingredients:

  • Milk (100% Fat) - 2 cups 
  • Milk Powder - 1 cup 
  • Castor Sugar - ½ cup 
  • Corn Flour - 1 tbsp 
  • Saffron Strands (Kesar) - 2-3 tsp
  • Cardamom Powder (elaichi) - 2 tsp 
  • Fresh Cream - ½ cup 
  • Chopped Pista - 1/2 cup

Method:
  • Heat a saucepan on gas, add sugar, saffron, cardamom powder and another cup milk and mix well then
  • Then add milk Mixture prepared earlier in this and stir well until the mixture gets thickened
  • Add fresh cream and chopped pista in it and keep stirring until the thick mixture is ready
  • Once done pour the mixture in serving bowl and refrigerate for 3-4 hours
  • Then scoop out chilled kear pista ice cream in ice cream bowl and serve to your families
