LEGO Might Micros - DC and Marvel Super Heroes

Clay is over the moon when he saw another amazing parcel from LEGO, containing the new Mighty Micros sets, as well as a LEGO Marvel Super Heroes set:

The latest additions to the Mighty Micros LEGO DC Super Heroes and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes range (RRP £8.99 each, suitable for 5 years plus) includes:

76068 Mighty Micros: Superman vs Bizarro
76069 Mighty Micros: Batman vs Killer Moth
76070 Mighty Micros: Wonder Woman vs Doomsday
76071 Mighty Micros: Spider-Man vs Scorpion
76072 Mighty Micros: Iron Man vs Thanos
76073 Mighty Micros: Wolverine vs Magneto

and we were sent the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes (#76077, RRP £29.99, suitable for 7 years +) as well!

Mighty Micros:

Each Mighty Micros set comes with 3 packets of LEGO pieces, 2 instruction sheets and a leaflet.

Clay has received a few of the previous Mighty Micros sets for his birthday last year, and he absolutely loved them. They are super adorable and highly collectible! We are soo happy to receive the latest additions, and there are a few firm favourites too!

Each of the set comes with a cutified Super Hero and a Super Villain, with shorter legs and adorable expressions. Their vehicles are adorable as well, with some great designs. I'm really amazed with the details the Lego Mighty Micros designers manage to put on the vehicles, especially when they are restricted with the size of the vehicle they can design on too.

Clay has no problem building the Mighty Micros sets on his own, and he really enjoyed putting them together. His favourite is LEGO DC Super Heroes Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet because it's "invisible"!

I've divided the 2 range below so you can take a closer look.

Mighty Micros - LEGO Marvel Super Heroes:

Magneto's vehicle has a mini giant magnet on the design, and my favourite from the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes range is Thanos' Infinity Glove vehicle. We feel mighty powerful with the infinity glove in our hand! Seriously though, the details and colour they've put attention to for the sets are just brilliant.

LEGO DC Super Heroes:

Clay spotted a moth on the back of Batman left on him by the Killer Moth! This is one of the most adorable set. Both vehicles are super cute (eye spy super cute windscreen on Batman's Batcopter!), and we especially love Killer Moth's bug-shaped vehicle!

Don't look down on the smaller LEGO sets, you can sometimes find really special, worth collecting pieces in them!

These are our favourite Mighty Micros vehicles *insert love heart eyes emoji*

Each of the Mighty Micros set are under £10 and you get 2 vehicles and 2 minifigures, it's really worth it and will make great birthday presents. There are still a few of the older sets available on LEGO's official store at 50% off, and they will be retiring soon, so grab a bargain before they are all gone!

The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes comes with 377 pieces split into 3 bags, 2 instruction booklet, a comic book, sticker sheet, 3 minifigures, Agent Coulson's car LOLA, and Detroit Steel.

Iron Man features the new-for-Spring-2017 Power Blast weapons! You press them against Iron Man and they'll shoot off his hands!

I think it was in the TV series S.H.I.E.L.D when Agent Coulson introduced LOLA (or Levitating Over Land Automobile) properly. I don't think I've seen her since then, so I'm pleasantly surprised to see a LEGO version of LOLA (and Coulson! Does this imply that he'll be back in the Marvel movie?)!

LOLA, as her full name implies, can fly, making it an awesome car to have! She looks pretty smart too and is one of Phil Coulson's favourite item (if you haven't seen the TV series and wonder why LEGO released a set with someone who's supposed to be dead in the Marvel Cinametic Universe, do watch the series as we think it's pretty good, especially the first one!)!

The LEGO LOLA can change mode simply by turning the exhaust pipes.

Justin Hammer's Detroit Steel carries the coolest LEGO weapon ever! The 6-Stud Shooter is absolutely fun to play, simply turn the wheel at the back and the studs will fly off one by one! Because it's so small, it's more funny than having a sense of violence when you play with it. The sound "pew pew pew!" in a cute voice kind of popped up in my head.

Then of course, the Detroit Steel still looks pretty macho. It is fully poseable with a cockpit for Justin Hammer, and features chainsaws on his arms too. Clay got his dad to help him build the Detroit Steel in the set, as it's a bit tricky with the cogs and wheels parts.

Another new addition to the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes set worth looking out for is the Hulk vs Red Hulk set (76078, RRP £54.99, suitable for age 7+), because it comes with Hulk, Red Hulk, as well as She-Hulk and Red She-Hulk! How cool is that?! And you will also get the 6-stud shooter!
