Thanks to inspirations from Gel-a-Peel, we've been doing a lot of crafting lately. We love how vibrant the colours are, and the gels are really easy to use too. They even smell nice after they've dried up completely! We've made a lot of accessories already using their Deluxe Kit and 3D Design Station (both will make an amazing Christmas gift!), and this time we've participated in their #CraftyChristmas fun to make something festive!

We were sent the really pretty Gel-a-Peel Sparkle Kit (RRP £14.99) that comes with 3 sparkly Gel-a-Peel gels, accessories and design templates, a blank stocking and Christmas baubles to decorate.




The Gel-a-Peel Sparkle Kit contains one of my favourite colour - Sparkle Light Pink. It's very similar to the Sparkle Crystal Clear, but with a touch of pink. I'll be more than happy to buy a whole range of Gel-a-Peel Sparkle colours if they do them in blue, green, purple etc too!

Like all Gel-a-Peel's kits, their accessories for decorating are really good quality, Abby's favourite so far is their hair clips, which she uses every day to clip her fringe up.

I covered the stocking bauble with white paper so the colours stand out a bit more

I actually wanted to use their equally pretty Sparkle green, neon yellow and gold for these, but we ran out! Luckily the Sparkle Crystal Clear works really well with other base colours, so we coloured the leaves with a green marker pen, and used the Gel-a-Peel Sparkle Crystal Clear on top. It's not as 3D but it somehow made the other bits on the stocking stand out!

We even used the Sparkle Crystal Clear on top of a black pen that says Ho Ho Ho on the stocking bauble, which gives it another effect!

We are very happy with our creations! It's the first time we used Gel-a-Peel on papers and fabrics and they work just as well! We just hope that Gel-a-Peel can release more colours so that we can create even more designs! Perhaps releasing them as themed packs like Halloween or Christmas, or even Mermaid! We'll definitely be collecting them all if they do!
