John Adams - Zombie Magic

Although Halloween is over, this John Adams's Zombie Magic kit will still make a great Christmas gift! We had a great laugh at the wriggly maggots and yucky brains, but Zombie Magic doesn't just make us go "euw!". The magic tricks included are fairly good too!

John Adams Zombie Magic (RRP £19.99, suitable for 7+) comes with:

a set of small plastic swords stored in a box
a leg
a bone
a specimen jar
a brain specimen
half a brain
zombie head
maggots
elastic band
3 identical plant pots
thumb
handkerchief
coffin
brain coin
a pair of swords
deck of cards
instruction leaflets

and downloadable "How To" video guide.

Me and Abby had a laugh trying out the magic tricks. Some are easy, like the specimen jar, where you grow a brain specimen back onto the zombie's head, and the coffin to reveal a maggot. Some require practising to perfect the trick, like the zombie head being stabbed by swords, but the brain (coin) isn't damaged; and magic away a maggot from your hand.

Others are a bit more complicated, like the plant pot and maggots trick, which you can learn from their downloadable "How to" guide. They are all very amusing though!

We have been taking turn to do a trick and let the other guess how it worked. It was hilarious because we failed so miserably and kept revealing things that should be kept hidden! We definitely need more practises!

We are happy with the quality of the pieces inside, and although they are creepy, the tricks are fantastic and quite cool indeed. Once mastered, you can do some serious entertainment with them!

Easiest trick: Maggot in the Coffin
Favourite Trick: Zombie brain being stabbed by swords
