Classic Pavlova

The old kiwi Classic in it’s most classic form. You’re not a kiwi cook until you’ve successfully created a Classic Pavlova.

Classic Pavlova
A classic recipe for one of the most popular NZ desserts.

Prep Time20 minutes
Cook Time1 hour
Ingredients
  • 4 egg whites
  • pinch salt
  • pinch Cream of Tartar
  • 1tsp Vanilla
  • 1tsp vinegar
  • 8oz caster sugar
  • 1tbsp cornflour
  • 1tbsp water
Instructions
  1. Beat Egg Whites until stiff with Salt and Cream of Tartar,
  2. Beat in half of the Sugar, Vanilla and Vinegar
  3. Then add the rest of the Sugar
  4. Fold in the Cornflour amd Water,
  5. Heat Oven to 200 cook for 1 hour
