But what is this two ingredient dough? This dough is as simple as combining self-raising flour and Greek yogurt.

It is a popular dough as it one of the easiest dough recipes that almost can’t go wrong. Further, if you are on Weight Watchers you can eat this dough.

Fat-free Greek yogurt is a zero points foods on the freestyle program.

Can you make self-rising flour?

In this recipe, self-rising flour is used. If you do not have a package of it in your kitchen pantry you can make it yourself.

For one cup of self-rising flour, whisk together one cup of all-purpose flour, 1½ teaspoons of baking powder and ¼ teaspoon of salt.

Make sure that when you make self-rising flour, you are using fresh baking powder for the best result.

What type of Greek yogurt do you use?

This recipe requires the use of Greek yogurt. However, these come in a number of different varieties like plain yogurt, fat-free, 2%, 3%, 5% or even full fat.

I use either fat-free yogurt or the 3 percent but other yogurts work. Select what you can find in the store.

If you can buy fat-free Greek yogurt, get it.

To make this dough you need only 2 ingredients on your shopping list. Make certain you get the following on your list:

  • Plain flour
  • Fat-free Greek yogurt

How to make two ingredient dough

It is really easy to make this dough. You can make it by hand and a wooden spoon, like I do, or use a kitchen machine.

Take self-rising flour, measure it and put it in a bowl. Then measure the Greek yogurt and add it to the bowl.

Take a wooden spoon and mix the ingredients together until combined.

Then knead by hand for about 3 minutes or with a kitchen machine. A ball of dough is formed and ready to use.

What to do when the dough s too sticky or wet?

If your dough is too sticky or too wet, add a little more flour at a time and work it into the dough until it is workable.

Can you make two ingredient dough without a stand mixer?

Yes, you can make this 2 ingredient dough without a stand mixer. As you can see in the video instructions you can make it by hand.

How To Make Two Ingredient Dough

Serves: 6 Prep Time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 0 minutes

The best dough recipe ever. This two ingredient dough is super easy to make either by hand of in a machine. No yeast so no rising = fast dough!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 2 tablespoon self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup plain, fat-free Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Put the self-rising flour in a bowl. Add plain, fat-free, Greek yogurt the bowl or add in a stand mixer bowl with the dough hook attachment
  2. Mix to combine. Put the dough on a floured board. Knead the dough by hand or on medium speed of your stand mixer for about 3 minutes until ball forms
  3. Sprinkle with flour, knead a couple of times and form into a ball
