One Pot Taco Pasta

Cheesy beefy Taco pasta is what’s for dinner. Kids love this One Pot Taco Pasta recipe so be sure to put it on this week’s menu. Making a dinner that the whole family will eat is a parenting win!

We are tossing the boxed meals and making things from scratch. Except pasta. Nobody has time for that when you have a hungry family to feed. You can even make this a little more healthier by swapping out the ground beef for ground turkey breast and making Taco Seasoning from scratch. We are doing away with all those preservatives and MSG that is loaded in the prepackaged stuff.

Bonus! This is all made in one pot. Cleaning the kitchen won’t be so bad after all.

Leftovers heat up well and my kids have even requested this for lunch the next day. HIGH FIVE!

We LOVE tacos and make them or a variation of the classic taco at least once a week. You may also want to try my Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos.

I used my Homemade Taco Seasoning in this recipe. If you don’t have all the spices to make homemade taco seasoning you can buy one of those Taco Seasoning packets at the grocery store. If you buy the prepackaged taco seasoning don’t follow the directions on the package. For my homemade taco seasoning you will use the whole amount the recipe makes. Only add the amount of water that is in the recipe below.

Garnishes

Tortilla Chips give this recipe a crunchy texture.

Sour Cream cools the dish to give it a nice balance to the spiciness.

Cherry Tomatoes give this One Pot Taco Pasta a sweet burst of flavor. Slice them in half or quarter them for a bite sized burst.
