Whole 30 2: Day 26

Hooray for comfort Food today!

Had more leftovers of course, starting up with more chicken-apple Sausages and eggs. I am so freaking glad I stocked up on these sausages when I saw them at Grocery Outlet because they’re so good. They’re made by Hip Chick Farms. Having a lot of protein and some fat at breakfast makes all the difference in keeping me full until lunch.

Lunch was more Italian chicken soup. While I am thankful to have food, I can’t wait until I am done with these leftovers.

After lunch I went into the Bay Area, but before I did I jazzed up my new haircut with some curls and put on my other new red lipstick. You can see the straight version of this style from yesterday’s post. I really love it curly, but I can’t imagine taking the time to do this during the work week.

Dinner was comforting but fancy pants.  I made my first non-collapsed avocado rosette, which turned out pretty if I do say so myself. The key is thin slices. My first one had some thick slices and it didn’t want to turn into circles very easily.

Made some crispy potatoes by steaming theses baby Yukon golds that I steamed in the microwave, then pressed a measuring cup on top to smash slightly. I browned them in ghee. I also cooked an egg over-medium in ghee, and browned some no added sugar chicken apple sausages.
