Whole 30 2: Day 11

The hardest thing about Whole 30 is when I want or need to eat out. I managed this successfully today! But first, breakfast…

I love that you can find little avocados so I can eat an entire one at each Meal and not have to eat leftover avocado that’s all brown and gross-looking. Sweet potatoes, from my meal prep, eggs, and avocado for breakfast.

Lunch was some Thai turkey and green Beans that I meal prepped the day before.

In the afternoon I had an apple and a packet of almond butter while sitting in my car in the Target parking lot.

My boyfriend is deployed in Santa Rosa, CA right now, which is slightly closer than he normally is to me by about 30 minutes, so we went out on a date. Steak houses are pretty easy for a Whole 30. This place is Cattlemen’s, and each meal comes with salad, Baked Potato, bread, and beans. My salad came without croutons and I used balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper to season. This was surprisingly tasty considering how simple it was. I skipped the beans and got my baked potato without sour cream and butter. I got a huge New York strip steak, which I could only eat half of. I wrapped the rest up, along with the remaining bread, for my boyfriend to take as a steak sandwich for lunch.
