Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta

Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta is one of the faster and easier Pasta recipe. No need for boiling and draining. It’s creamy, healthy, bright, and satisfying. How much easier can it get!

You basically add it to whatever pasta base you are making (protein, veggies, sauce), then add water, cream, or stock and bring it to a boil for 8-10 minutes and you’re done. INGREDIENTS
  • 12 oz box of Barilla Pronto pasta (I used penne)
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts cubed
  • Zest of a lemon about 1 tbsp
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice from the same lemon
  • 1/3 cup light or heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan

TIME REQUIRED : 10 mins to prepare and 15 mins to cook

PROCEDURE

STEP 1

heat olive oil in large deep skillet on medium-high. Season chicken with kosher salt and pepper and cook until golden brown on all sides, 4 to 5 minutes.

STEP 2

Next add the pasta and water or chicken broth and cook for 6-7 minutes or until pasta is al-dente.

STEP 3

Lastly, add lemon zest, and cream. Mix well and cook for another minute then remove from heat.

STEP 4

Top with fresh lemons, basil, or parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
