No te deprimas. Nos pasa a todos. Excepto a mi reloj, que sigue andando.

That's my watch, but it doesn't say that hour. Now is another. You are out of date, it works fine. Believe me, I have it in front of me. What you're reading now I didn't write it when you read me. There is a permanent asynchrony between the author and the reader, between the photo and the observer. Maybe I am dead, and you do not know it. Maybe you're the one who is dead, and this text is like the Siberian cedar that nobody ever has seen, it fell struck by lightning, it rotted and disappeared, and there is no record or certainty that it has ever existed. Do you think you're better than a cedar? It is not put you off, but I think you don't exist. Do not get depressed. It happens to everyone. Except to my watch, that keeps moving.
