Since my last post i have been reading like crazy right after i discovered there was a second Book, and i found out something else! there are three short stories between them you can find everything about it in Elizabeth Eulberg's blog. I find myself finding that kind of things quite often or in other words getting late to the party! just like with The selection (i'll get to that later), i mean i read it when i was in sixth grade, so when i was done with it, there wasn't any more news about a sequel. But know it turns out there are more! which is awesome, and that is why i'm writing right now.
I can't find that book anywhere, so i'll have to wait to read it for a while, but there's good news for all of us who have read the first book and want more, are free! and at the end of every single short Story is a chapter, so basically right now i'm three chapters into the book, i won't give you an inside of the book because i'll leave my opinion until i'm fully done with it, for know i will talk about the short stories i already read, but first can we talk about the titles? every single one has a Beatles song name, can it be greater than that? Yes it can.
A Hard Day's Night
I'm not leaving you a synopsis or something like I do almost every time, because all about them are in the authors blog so i'll give an inside spoilers free(or i'll try to) with my opinion of it.
This story takes place before chapter 27 in the first book, in Halloween, and no is not a scary story, is pretty funny to be honest.
Penny's father is a dentist so in her house not much candy has been allowed, and that's all halloween is about right?, but let alone that, she could never get to wear the costume she wanted, she had to dress as one of the Beatles every single year (c'mon it is a pretty awesome idea), even though she loves it, she decide it that this year she and the club are going to dress as a powerful woman.
But is halloween night so some tricks are done, some punks decide to prank one of the Lonely hearts club members , and that was the greatest mistake of their life, because once you mess with one member you mess with every single one of them. Is a hilarious story, it made me laugh so much.
Two of Us
This story is a little bit more romantic, if you like this kind of stuff then this is your story because this is Penny and Ryan's first date. First dates troubles: (so i've heard) what to wear?, penny is in a great dilemma, she's been feeling those butterflies in her stomach and those nerves, and she can't get rid of them. Since she began with the club she has encourage every girl to not change who they are for a boy, so she dress normally and wait impatiently for her date, the only thing i'm going to tell you about the date is: it went pretty well and is going to be a next one.
I thinks is a super great story where the author describes perfectly how awkward this situations are at first, the nerves, the questions in your head... (this story is close to christmas time) "should she make him a gift?" "should she invite him to her sister's wedding?", this situations are perfectly described in a funny way. this story will show you how important is to be yourself and stay true no matter what.
From Me to You.
Christmas is just around the corner and things are just getting better. In this one you get a more inside in the relationship and is going great, teasing, funny flirting and there is not much to say about it, i think you get to see more of penny's family in this stories and also more of Ryan (perfect/hot) Bauer. but as in everything Problems have to show up, we don't see problems in this story but little clues tell us that in the second book things are getting bad.

I know i'm super late to the party but i just found out The Selection is becoming a movie, and i haven't finished the book, i do that a lot, i just get to exited reading and is not that the book didn't got me, is just that at the time i was reading the darkest minds and then i stopped because i wasn't that into the book so i started the selection, and i stopped and finished the trilogy, so that is my story i need to finished the books before it become a movie.
Have you ever done this? or am I the only one?
