Before I get into my Review, here's the synopsis from Goodreads:

Chemistry
What most girls search a lifetime for…
I felt it the minute he set those whiskey colored eyes on me.
Magnetism
We had it in spades…
My body was drawn to hers the moment she set foot into the room.
What happens when you both have pasts that threaten the future?
Do you do nothing?
Or
Do you Say Something?

22 year old Ari Munoz is used to keeping men at arm's length. So when her best friend Vonne guilts her into going to a frat party, she couldn't think of a worse way to spend a Thursday night. That's until she sparks the interest of love’m and leave’m Ben Rodriguez. The electricity she feels when they lock eyes is something she's never felt before.

22 year old Ben Rodriguez has it all. He's a football star, president of his fraternity, and well known ladies’ man. His endless pick of beauties, makes him the envy of all of his fraternity brothers. So why are a pair of long legs and hazel eyes making him want to throw out all of his rules?

*This novel deals with adult themes and language. 18+ please. This is book 1 in a series and contains a cliffhanger.

My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimers: I received a copy of this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not obligated to write a good review nor did I receive any compensation for writing this review.

Why did I decide to turn the pages? The cover and I'm a sucker for this kind of book.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: It exceeded my expectations. I was expecting it to be a standard book that I enjoyed but not one that I enjoyed all that much.

I liked it much more than I thought it would be. No spoilers but man that cliffhanger ending. It was so dramatic. I have to know what happens next. Gosh what a cliffhanger.

I enjoyed the writing and the characters. The writing was interesting and the characters were fun to read about.

The book had a surprising depth to it.

Having said that, this novel is insta-love, so if that's not your thing, this is probably not for you.

Major Strengths: Surprising depth to it.

Major Weaknesses: Insta-love and predictable.

So why 3 stars? It did exceed my expectations, but it was missing that extra something to get a 4.

Warnings/Side-notes: 17+. It's not erotic by any means, but definitely for older readers.

The Wrap-up: An enjoyable, fun read that will leave you begging to read the sequel.

Love,

Danica Page
