Hide Me In Your Arms

Hide me in your arms
I'm not feeling well tonight
Hide me in your arms
Before out goes my light
Dim and flickering
Before the wick goes cold
And when the sky turns grey and old
My tears will Fall like rain
So I'll hope you'll take them
Soaking through my being into yours
I'll ask you the questions that nobody has ever an answer to
And you'll rock me to the edge
Of my misery
Till I'll fall into you
we will blend and meld
Into something more softer
Something more sorrowful
But the Truth is that inside this mess
This chaos and absolute troublesome heart
There lies the potential for greater joy
And as long your eyes will reflect
The half curved stone of midnight
I will see through the crevices
And believe
Deep inside this cracked surface
Is this gift
That I yet have to behold
Let me shed away in your arms
Till I am that piece of rhinestone
That hangs from the corner
Of the mirror in your car
Or the chain that ready close to your heart
And I will be there somewhere in your being
Because joy is not crystal
It is engaging holding
And keeping these memories
Somewhere
Where I can believe
That is more to the day
Is enough
Is it enough
Can I hold these heavy stones
And walk by your side
Can I burn out my light
Knowing you'll be there by side
Can I be sure that
That there is enough fight
Left in me
Left in you

Hold me in your arms again
And we will fight forever
Hold me in your arms
And I'll forget there was a never
To this life and world
Because what is in front of me
Is more than what exists in all spectrum
The one truth I can read
Better than any hand reader or fortune teller
The arms that hold me
Hold this world of mine
I watch it crumble
And you make me stand tall.
