I've been following Thimble for a couple of years now, and have a few of his titles on my TBR, but his latest - My Femdom Savior - is my first read . . . and it most certainly won't be my last.

This is a book goes beyond female domination (femdom) fantasies and delves deep into the establishment of a female-led Relationship (FLR). Noah and Sophia talk a lot about their relationship, about what it means to submit, to put another's needs desires first, to obey without question, and to take satisfaction in a partner's pleasure. With each of them bringing some baggage into the relationship, a comfortable FLR doesn't come easy, and it doesn't come quickly. This isn't some insta-femdom fantasy, is an erotic romance about learning the rules and finding what works.

One thing I absolutely adored about this was how it explores the psychology of of the power exchange and how submission can be its own form of therapy. Noah's struggles with depression, sexual self-esteem, and impotence, and the ways in with Sophia patiently works with him to demonstrate that there are other forms of intimacy to be shared is wonderful. Together, they explore chastity, orgasm denial, role reversal, and punishment, with their relationships riding a wave of excitement and uncertainty that rings true. I understood Noah, I sympathised with him, and even if I sometimes cringed at his little acts of rebellion and defiance, I also know that's my own experience talking.

The other thing I loved about this is the fact that Sophia is not some perfect, untouchable, fantasy dominatrix. She's an altogether odd woman, a touch aloof and off-putting at first, whose fashion sense is atrocious. Once you get to know her, she's a strong, admirable young career woman, a young woman who wants to be loved, and a self-confident woman who needs to be in control. My Femdom Savior is an apt title for the journey on which she leads Noah, and the moments of darkness and frustration are what make the moment of pleasure so delightful.

Anne L. Cynklaire is an author I met through Fetlife, which allowed me to step into Lady Adera's Sissy Slave already knowing a little about who she is and what her interests are - mainly, domination, baking, Emo & Metal music, and total power exchange, among others.

This is a total power exchange fantasy in which the reader is the main character - it's a delightful read. We're a transgender submissive who longs to become the property of  Lady Adera, the Domme of our dreams, and being owned by her is as much about pampered femininity as it is pleasure and punishment. 

As a fantasy about the perfect owner and perfect submissive, we can just surrender to the moment and enjoy the extremes to which Lady Adera takes us. It's a very sexual tale, one featuring multiple partners, but the focus is always on submission to her whims and desires.
