Seventy-third Letter to Professor Greene (Part A)

Is it raining?

Yes. I thought I heard some thunder as well, but I don’t know.

What Time is it?

5:30

It’ more soothing when it’s drizzling.

You think so? I’ve always preferred real storms.

Agree to disagree?

Yes ma’am, shall we go back to sleep?

I think so.

~~~
Good morning runner boy.
It can’t be the morning already.
This is proff that even you hate the morning.
Just this particular morning.
And still a stubborn ass.
I thought you always liked that about me?
Not really, I just kind of tolerate it.
You should have told me, I would have stopped.
A stubborn person stopping something? Not a chance.
You’re right. But I smell like a pig and I can change that.
Yes please do. And thank you for taking me out. It was nice.
I had fun too, you know how I like dancing.
A few lessons might not hurt though.
I always wanted to take some, but it is so expensive.
Maybe as a birthday present for my toes.
~~~

At long last the runner boy is home.

I’m sorry if you’ve been waiting. I had to stop and get gas. Then I got lost getting on the freeway. Then I hit traffic. It was a bloody mess.

Aww, poor thing. Well you go change and we’ll go out.

You’re coming with me today?

As long as we don’t go up or down any hills.

I can do a flat day. Are you sure you are up to it, you haven’t come with me in a while?

Yes, you just do your thing and I’ll follow along on my bike.

No short shorts today?

I know it embarrasses you.

Well thank you for the effort, I appreciate it. You know how it bugs me when people talk about us.

A happy wife is a happy home.

~~~
My darling Danish, how did you like it?
It’s good. It seemed a little different than normal though.
I never taste the citrus, so I decided to marinate the fish with the lemon and orange juice.
That’s exactly what it is. I still think my grilled lime-pepper salmon is better though.
We still have one filet left. We could make it an appetizer tomorrow.
I don’t think fish would go well with what I have planned; it’s more of a main course anyways.
Thursday’s menu isn’t set yet, so how about then?
That’s fine. Just stick to the recipe that I made for you please.
Done. That being said, anything else I can make out of the cook book?
How about that wild rice risotto with raisin and garbanzo beans?
I will have to go shopping, but also consider it done.
Don’t go shopping just for me. I’m sure we have stuff in the house instead.
You know I don’t mind shopping.
I’m fine with whatever you want to do.
