To Remember
It’s enough for me to remember that I have been there. I need no proof for others that I have stood upon the tallest mountain or swam the widest river. If I forget something my friends will remind me. And when we are too old and decrepit to remember, we will smoke cigars on the veranda and make something up for the grandkids. And that is life, to remember and forget without a care in the world.
