Welcomes, hello, hello, take a seat. I have been bingeing Disney films for, I don't know, about 10 years now. And my love for them is not small or well-hidden.
Short story time
The other day, I was sat in the library looking at all the work I had to complete that week for university and I thought to myself, what would be the best way to do this? And do you know what I thought? Let's not do this. Let's take a whole load of Disney quizzes instead of doing work and test all my Disney knowledge. So Katie and I (the other half of A Coffee and A Cry), took about twenty Disney quizzes and then left the library, as we thought that was enough work for the day.
Anyway, I always find myself putting on Disney songs to match my Mood or task.
Mood - Sad
When I am feeling blue, this song will never, ever fail to make me feel better and more accomplished about my day. It also just so happens that Moana is one of my absolute favourite Disney films!
Mood - Pumped up
Come on, you knew this song was going to be on the list! I'll make a man out of you, is my favourite song, hands down. This song works for many many moods, but I have found myself listening to it more when I need to be hyped/pumped up. When I am gearing up to write a large essay or to win Beer Pong, I tend to listen to this song!
Mood - Happy
When I am already happy, this is my go-to song. I love Tangled as well but this song has to be one of my absolute favourite Disney songs of all time. There is just something heart-warming about every single criminal in Rapunzel's small-town singing about their dreams. Need to smile? Add this to your everyday playlist.
Mood - Needing a little bit of hope
Do you ever get in that mood where you need to be reminded that there is hope? That everything you have been working towards is actually for something and eventually, even if you can't see it now, it will amount and mean something. Yeah, this is my song for a mood just like that.
Mood - A mood lifter
This song has to be one of my absolute favourite Disney songs. If you meet someone and they don't sing along to this song, then you should not trust them. Because this song is one of the most sing-able songs in the world. If you fancy a good sing-along or you are feeling down, this is the tune for you.
Mood - Powerful
Do you ever need a song that is just going to help you get through the day? A song that is going to make you feel just a little more powerful? Or what about, a superhero? This is definitely the song for you!
