Poetry: Thank You

Thank You

I pluck peaches
From fresh air
And paint them with pictures

Long forgotten
By the busy town
I don’t mind if no one sees them

Their flashes are my blue sky
This blind faith – my temple

A boundless hall that illuminates
It points to something deeper

With fifty years to guide me onwards
I believe I am starting to get there
