Interview 1.2 (Danielle Weber)

Good day and welcome to my blog. This is another delicious meal that I have prepared to brighten up your day. Today, I’ll be introducing a new episode of the section of this blog called Interview. In this episode, I will be giving you the details of my interview with the talented artist that goes by the name of Danielle Weber. I came across her art on Instagram (I should really do an appreciation post for Instagram, it’s helped me a lot) and I was glued to her page. I was really fascinated by her details and her use of colours. Another thing that stood out was how she had the ability to represent an object in two different paintings with different colours and still make it look really good. I don’t know if I was able to pass the message completely on how really good she is, so I’ll let you see for yourself.

I know right?, she’s really good. Now that you’ve gotten the chance to see for yourself, let’s get to the interview shall we?. Let’s get to know Danielle Weber.

Q: What was your inspiration, how did it all start?

Ans: I guess growing up with no (little technology) meant that I was drawing, painting and getting involved in anything art related from a very young age. When I finished school, my Mum (I say forced she says encouraged) me to pursue art. I was adamant that I wouldn’t make a living out of being an artist. I painted a painting for a friend, uploaded it on Facebook and then it was a bit of a ripple effect after that! Mum was my initial inspiration.

In a way, being told being an artist was something I couldn’t accomplish also motivated me to succeed even more and inspires me all the time. The joy and appreciation that my art brings out in clients, family and friends inspires me every single day.

Travel is a big inspiration, culture, music and people. They all inspire me in different ways but have assisted me in creating more depth in my pieces.

Q: Aside from art, what do you do during leisure times, what are your hobbies?

Ans: I go to my grandparent’s house and I spend time with them. I also love going for walks or in the summer going to the beach and lying in the sun for hours. I love cooking!

Q: What message do you intend to send to the world with your art?

Ans: I intend to prove to people that you CAN make a living out of being an artist. To follow your dreams. I want to make sure people on the receiving end feel incredible after viewing my art. Inspired, enlightened and motivated.

Q: There are many artists out there, what do you feel makes your work unique?

Ans: I feel I am still finding myself in my art so it isn’t as unique as I’d hope for it to be yet, but I feel my use of colours, the way I make portraits come to life and my consistency and work ethic is what makes me unique.

Q: What is art to you?

Ans: Art is my happiness, my escape, expression and it also means a lot because of how I can make other people feel with it.

Q: What were your obstacles and support to your art?

Ans: Obstacles would be not getting enough time to work on originals and discover my own style due to demand for commissions.

Social media has been a massive support, friends and also family.

Q: What’s the ultimate goal for your art, the ultimate milestone you want to achieve with art?

Ans: I want to own a Creative agency, where I can inspire young creative and provide them with opportunities in order to encourage them to follow their passion.

Q: As a painter, you deal with lots of colors, which is your favorite?

Ans: Ooo that’s hard. Purple and turquoise at the moment.

So that’s a wrap, I hope you were able to learn enough about her and I hope that you were inspired. To contact her via Instagram, just click here. If you have any comment, the comment box is all yours and if you are new to this blog and you like what you see, make use of either Follow buttons.
