Good day and welcome to my blog. I Hope you’re having a lovely day. Firstly, I want to sincerely apologize for not being active for a while and with that I hope I’m forgiven. Time for the business of the day, I will be introducing a new Poem I just completed to you and its titled “I need a poem”. It is a really nice poem that I came about while searching for a poem, talk about blessing in disguise. I just put that the things that crowded my mind at that period and I hope you like it:

I need a poem

I need a poem,

But I don’t know what it’s about.

Neither do I know its direction

Nor I know its route.

There are a lot of uncertainties,

But I know I need it right now.

I don’t know if it’s about love

Or the human tendency to get hurt.

Or if it’s about peace

Or man’s affinity to the path of war.

Should I Write on an illusion

Or the harsh cold reality.

Should I get lost in life’s treasures

Or should I expose its vanity.

Should I show you the partial nature

Of the concept we call Justice

Or should I write on the merits

Of our lovely friend, Mercy.

Should I be an artist and paint a story

Of a happily ever after

Or should I write on how in life,

Nothing ever lives forever.

Should I write on how the most beautiful thief,

Has stolen my heart

Or should I write on how paranoid I am,

That she might rip it apart.

Should I write on my ill fate

Or how hard I’m trying to have faith.

Should I write on my unhelpful human nature

Or on the uncertainties that concern me on my future.

Or maybe I should open to my eyes

To see this blessing in disguise

On how I’ve come about a poem

That’s about finding a poem.
