Good day and welcome to my blog. In a while, I’ll be introducing a poem of mine named “Unknown“. This piece is pretty much about the……… unknown(lol), the things we do not know, questions we have not answered and how man responds to situations where he knows little or nothing about. Its a really nice one that I hope you can relate to. In the next post, I’ll be telling you about my inspiration and speaking on this topic, so you would love to stick around. If this is your first time on this blog and you like what you see, be sure to follow by e-mail(non-bloggers) or make use of the follow button(bloggers). Enough chit-chat, Its time for the poem:
Unknown
Through man’s walk in life,
Whether good or bad,
In his arsenal,
A response he has always had
Whether in form of a rifle or peace,
Or in aggression or a gentle tease
But what happens when man comes across the unseen
Feelings he’s never felt,
Paths he’s never tread,
Concepts he’s never heard,
Monsters he has never feared,
The Unknown.
The Unknown,
Lies in man’s inability to define,
The Unknown,
The garden to which man’s true fear blissfully lies
Man’s fear is in The Unknown,
Because it makes him seem incomplete
His fear is in The Unknown,
Because it makes him feel obsolete
His fear is in The Unknown,
Because it makes him question his sanity
His fear is in The Unknown,
Because it exposes life for its true identity,
Vanity.
Man’s true fear is encrypted,
Deep in the messages he’s never decrypted
His true fears,
Lie in the stories untold
And his true blindness,
Lies in the light unshone
And his true weakness,
Lies blissfully in The Unknown.
