Immortal (Poem)

Good day and welcome to my blog. I could feel that today is a good day for you and it’s about to get better. If you are a fan of poetry or Love you might want to stick around for the poem coming your way in a bit. It’s named Immortal. In the next post, I’ll be telling you about my inspiration and discussing this topic as usual. You definitely would not want to miss that too. It’s time for the poem:

Immortal

These days I find myself lost in wonder

On what love truly is?

Is it a cure or a disease?

Or maybe love is all an illusion,

The perfect reason to bask in delusion

Only if there was no reality,

Maybe illusions would live forever

Or maybe love is a flower?

A beauty in its season, but a beast as it withers

Only if flowers lived forever

As it becomes a member of the past,

So does its euphoria

Or maybe love is a soothing fog

A comfortable cloud to your senses

Only if there was no daylight

Maybe fogs would live forever

As when it all clears,

Your grasp on reality suddenly reappears

A part of me chooses to believe the fantasy

That maybe love is love

And can’t be likened to any of life’s vanity

Even though it’s rare to discover

But maybe love lasts forever

Maybe, just maybe

Love is Immortal.
