Living Out Loud

I’ll tell you what, if you are looking for a book to bruise your emotions look no further! Living Out Loud by Staci Heart is easily my second favorite  Staci Heart book, second to A Thousand Letters, in the same series of books she has written inspired by classic novels written by Jane Austin. I have read some of her other books and they were pretty good too, but these two by far are the best! I also liked the little Easter eggs in here that were from her other books, even from her other series.

I’m in love with Greg and Annie’s story. From page one I was pulled into the wonder and innocence of Annie. The emotions elicited from this story range from Joy to hate. Some parts had me squealing in delight as other parts had me wishing phones were cheap or free because I really wanted to full force throw my phone across the room and curse Staci Hart’s existence.

So, Living Out Loud is the story of Annie and Greg, duh I’ve already mentioned that, that is inspired by Jane Austin’s Sense and Sensibility. I’ve never really gotten into classic literature but it has been a long time since I tried it and I think I most ght be inspired to pick up some classics the next time I’m at the library.

Again I’m a little off track, back to Annie and Greg! Their story was perfectly full of angst and miscommunication as many romance novels are. Annie is Young and naive and has just moved to the big city of New York with a list full of Hopes and dreams, number one of which is to get a job, and this is where we are introduced to Greg. Though he is about ten years older and still sorting his life out he is undeniably mesmerized by this sweet innocent girl that just walked into his bar and subsequently his life.

At first there is denial and the friend zone and then there’s complications. One of which is another man with a lot of charm. And that is the three sides of a love triangle with Annie at the apex.

(I made this one)

For the sake of her happiness and friendship Greg is silent and that is all good and okay, until it isn’t.

Things come to a head and the triangle is broken but inexplicably, so is Annie, literally. With Greg by her side she heals, finds that she has grown up quite a bit in the short time she had been in New York and that dreams really do come true, if not in the manner you had imagined them to.

So my little booklings, if your Feels want  ride and you want to laugh, cry, laugh, scream out loud and cry again pick up Living Out Loud by Staci Hart. Your Feels will thank you.

I give Living Out Loud a 5 out of 5 well deserved stars!
