The Wife Between Us

At first The Wife between us was just a little creepy and maybe sad and pathetic. The end of the first part and the beginning of the second got a little confusing but the pace of the Book got much better and brought the book treating back up in my opinion. It was not the psychological thriller I had hoped but it still has that vein and is a good book. I would recommend it to fans of B A Paris. As Literary fiction it’s an A, as a phycological thriller a B-.

The Wife Between Us is divided into 3 parts. As I mentioned the first part want the best and it was the hardest to get through. It follows a woman, Vanessa, who is stalking her ex-husband’s new finance. There are troubles in her past as well as a history of mental illness in her family. This first part is the set up for the second and the second the third part.

As the second part starts it is a little confusing but becomes clear the true nature of this story. And the third and concluding section has to be the most gripping.

The Wife Between Us is possibly not a wife at all if you can read between the lines and I’ll leave it at that. Don’t want to spoil all the surprised! And that this book has, including the doozie in the epilogue.

So if you are a bookling fan of B A Paris I am quite positive you will love this book. A psychological thriller bookling, it may be a stretch but I think you might enjoy it as well.

I will give this book a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley for a fair and honest review.
