A poem dedicated to cetaceans (marine mammals)

Hi, to those all around the world. I thought this Poem would be a good introduction to my blog!

please share and comment.

The last millennia

Once rulers of the land, evolved to become rulers of the ocean for a millennia.

A millennia sought by peace and natural evolution until a grave devastation caused endangerment, ruin

and death; humans.

Cetaceans of such peace and beauty were culled and swept into a plague of unforgivable endangerment

because of such matter of ‘medicine’ and ‘necessity’.

No matter how many cries were wept, nothing could stop such devastation.

Mocha Dick although was one brave less soul who defended his kind by demolishing

and killing men in return to show the grief and misery he and his family were put through.

Yet, no man understood because they were hypnotised by their own greed to be empowered

to kill more and to earn more expense.

Such miraculous beauty of the sounds of the echo, such beauty of dancing cetaceans became

slowly the devastation of sounds of grief and dances of misery.

It’s only now that men have used their morality to see the hurt and endangerment they have caused.

They have finally come to realisation to stop and have merely recomposed themselves

but many men still hunt for satisfaction of expense with such foolish justification to cover their greed.

It took decades to unfold the blindness to see the ruler of the ocean, the beauty, and such kindness and sophistication

of such graceful animals.

Yet, as men put their weapons down, have they come to realise that what they have done may be unforgivable

and maybe too late?

Because the rulers of the ocean may be stuck in the darkness for another millennia

before a sheet of light shines again to pose for pure sanctity of the cetaceans.
