Turpan, a small town in Xinjiang province in china is going to experience its first environment friendly city.
The model city will be spread across 8.8Sq.Km. Solar energy and wind energy will be utilized to power the city.
For cooling and heating purposes, geothermal energy will be utilized. For public transport, the city will have zero pollutant electrical buses and taxis. The use of private cars will be minimized to least number possible.
