Phe drone have scientists from the US Environmental Protection Agency NOAA Whales equipped with transmitters. Actually, these transmitters, which are attached to the animals with suction cups and provide important data for research, would be attached to the whales from a close distance from a boat, the NOAA scientists write in the journal “Royal Society Open Science”. But that can disturb the animals, put people in danger and is often unsuccessful.
