Established AV rated Creditors' Rights Law Firm, in Cleveland area, seeks Associate with 1-3 years of practical experience for its collection department.

Duties will include: drafting & reviewing affidavits, complaints, motions, executions, mechanic liens, discovery, and subpoenas on consumer matters. This is a great opportunity to gain courtroom experience.

Applicant must be familiar with consumer protection laws and regulations including the FDCPA, OCSPA and rules promulgated by the CFPB. Knowledge of federal student loan laws is very beneficial.

Applicant will be working with other collection attorneys, collectors and collection support staff and therefore should enjoy engaging in collaborative efforts with others. Additionally, Applicant must have an ability to pay attention to detail, possess good organizational skills and a good work ethic.
