Major Legal Services/Westlake, OH

Our client is a Fortune 500 manufacturing company that is seeking to hire a mid-level corporate attorney who can provide legal advice in the areas of commercial contracts, securities compliance, trade & product compliance, data privacy and general corporate law.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience at a law firm or combination law firm/in-house environment and be willing and available to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

Primary duties will include:

*Contract drafting/reviewing with an emphasis on the company's medical businesses

*Advising the client on product and trade compliance matters

* Maintenance of corporate secretarial requirements and legal actions required by the corporation's domestic and international subsidiaries

* Providing assistance in subsidiary restructuring activities and research, review and monitoring of new and updated regulations

Our client is seeking an attorney who excels at contract drafting and analysis skills and is able to effectively communicate with business colleagues, in-house attorneys and outside counsel around the globe.

The ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize work assignments, and be detail-oriented is required. Prior experience with companies in medical device design, development and manufacturing is a strong plus.
