Miller Agricultural Recruiting seeks to fill the following role with our client;

Global Regulatory Manager Ag Chemicals

Overview:

This position is intended for an individual with an interest in pursuing a career in global regulatory affairs, registration and compliance. It offers the opportunity to develop a broader and deeper knowledge, understanding, competence and experience in the regulation of traditional crop protection chemicals as well as biological products. The position requires initiative in regulatory management of projects directly linked to the success of the business in the areas of product line expansion, growth, defense, sourcing, off-patent strategy, trade and competitive intelligence across crop and non-crop businesses, in all geographies and across all product lines. Goals are achieved through decisive action that combines individual initiative and partnership with diverse functions and cultures. The successful candidate will report to a Sr. Global Regulatory Manager and be a member of a highly interactive and supportive team. Travel is anticipated to be no more than 15%.

Responsibilities:

Product Line performance - growth, maintenance and defense

Business support/Compliance - Ensure compliance with law and regulations as appropriate to international and domestic operations

Strategic management - maintain external focus relating to opportunities and threats to key active ingredients

Alternate product sourcing - implementation of global sourcing registration strategies

Safety - contribute in meaningful ways to a world class safety culture

Personal and Team Development - Pursue personal development activities to increase individual effectiveness as a single contributor and team member

Required Education:

Minimum MS degree (Ph.D. preferred) preferably in a regulatory science or related discipline (chemistry, toxicology, eco-toxicology, biochemistry or environmental science)

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulatory-related role in the ag chemical, ag biotech or pesticide industry

Basic knowledge of agrochemicals and chemical regulations

Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to regulatory challenges

Experience with interacting with government authorities preferred

Familiarity with risk assessment

A history of creating relationships with partners to develop and execute regulatory plans to achieve business objectives
