Turmeric trading range for the day is 7226-7514. Turmeric settled flat as prices recovered from lows tracking firmness in spot demand due to tight stock position. The standing crop is in good condition Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra but Tamil Nadu is still facing water shortage. As per farmer sowing intentions estimated, current year Turmeric area was reported lower in Tamil Nadu by around 40-45%. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7500 Rupees dropped -6.25 Rupees.
