Virginia 7th grade Students had a chance to experience a VR flight simulator where they could actually manipulate instruments & controls and fly a Navy Fighter Jet launching from an aircraft carrier in Virtual Reality brought to you by NextGen Event Co. and VA Highlands Airport at the UWSV Careers Expo for Youth Show in Abingdon, VA. Over 4,500 Students from all over the Southwest VA area to explore and discover various career options over the 2 day event hosted by the United Way of Southwest Virginia.

Also an Augmented Reality demonstration providing custom graphics developed for a construction development company introduced the students to new exciting technology in the AR space.
