Bookkeeping Services Business Video Example and Idea.

I was gifted with an animated Ninja character from my buddy, Ron Passaro, a brilliant designer of video assets. When he first came out with his ninja character, one thing I asked him for was something I could use in most business videos. A ninja that “fixed” things. I call him my fix-it ninja.

Basically, this is how the conversation went:

My thought about the little ninja dude – what about this…

in figuring out good scenarios to use him/her for clients, I’m thinking “ninja-level skills”.

The animation could look like he/she jumps onto the screen to take action (just like I see that he already does), but then he/she turns his back to you while furiously (and with ninja-level skills of course) working on the issue at hand. Arms wildly flying in clouds of dust. And then he/she quickly turns back to face forward, jumping out of the way to reveal the “fixed” whatever.

For example:

• Ninja IT Support person jumps onto the screen to see a broken/old computer/server, then furiously fixes it, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the computer is bright shiny and like new.
• Ninja Home Repair person jumps onto the screen to see a broken/old house, then furiously fixes it, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the house is all spiffy again.
• Ninja hair stylist jumps onto the screen to see a person with messy hair and frowning, then furiously works on them, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the person’s hair looks neat and styled, and they are smiling.
• Ninja auto repair person jumps onto the screen to see a broken/old car, then furiously fixes it, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the car is bright shiny and like new.
• Ninja Spa and Massage person jumps onto the screen to see a stressed out and tired person, then furiously works on them, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the person is smiling and content.
• Ninja personal trainer jumps onto the screen to see a person who is out of shape and unfit, then furiously works on them, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the person is fit, happy, and looking healthy.
• Ninja business coach jumps onto the screen to see an overworked and confused business person, then furiously works on them, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the business person is happy and energetic.
• Ninja professional organizer jumps onto the screen to see a messy closet/garage/room, then furiously works on it, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the room is organized and sparkling.
• Ninja pet groomer jumps onto the screen to see a scraggly looking pet, then furiously works on them, and when he turns back around (jumping out of the way) the pet is neat, clean, and probably wearing a bow.

It would be great if ninja-dude could be showing the business logo on front of their ninja outfit.

You get the idea. You’re not providing the before/after pics, but you’re providing the whamma-jamma ninja who can fix or do anything. Now that I think about it, it’s the pain-to-solution representation all over again. I feel like I’m a broken record…”

I was thrilled and surprised when a few days later I received my special fix-it ninja in my email. Very exciting.
