The Trump the Stole Christmas

A Hunting Shack Christmas

When: November 13 – December 27
Where: Yellow Tree Theatre, 320 Fifth Avenue SE

This hilarious and heart-felt comedy is returning to Minnesota for another year. Charlie and Jennifer have been living for ten years in blissful suburban matrimony. But as their anniversary approaches, Charlie feels suffocated and flees to his family’s hunting shack to find himself. When he arrives three days before Christmas he is shocked to instead find estranged uncle Big Paul, his feisty mistress Junie and cousin Ham squatting at the shack running an illegal venison jerky operation.

Gingerbread Wonderland

In true Norwegian fashion and inspired by the city of Bergen’s annual Gingerbread City, Norway House is inviting friends and families to enjoy Minneapolis and St. Paul made out of gingerbread. Local pastry chefs, gingerbread house experts will create a fantastic replica of the Twin Cities.

Hip Hop Nutcracker

When: November 24 and 25
Where: Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, 345 Washington Street

A dozen all-star hip hop dancers being the Nutcracker to life in contemporary New York City. This evening-length show celebrates love, community and the magic of the holiday season with some great hip hop dancing mixed in to appeal to the whole family.

“Here Comes Santa Claus,” downtown Rochester’s cherished holiday tradition, returns Friday, November 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The magical evening kicks-off with a thrilling rooftop rescue by the Rochester Fire Department. In his 41st consecutive year, Santa will make his dramatic rooftop landing and grand downtown debut.

Holidazzle

Get ready to enjoy a little North Country right here in Downtown Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Downtown Council and Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board are excited to partner together and bring Holidazzle to Loring Park. As downtown Minneapolis’ premier holiday celebration, Holidazzle has delighted residents, visitors and downtown employees for years. Now, in 2015, this tradition is bringing family-friendly programming to Loring Park and is free and open to the public.

European Christmas Market at Union Depot

The Christmas Market is a free, six-day, open-air event inspired by “Christkindlmarkt,” an outdoor holiday festival common across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other central European countries featuring handmade goods from local vendors and European-styled food and drink.

Holiday Rose Gala

Where: Roseville Skating Center Banquet Facility

You are invited to Red Carpet Affair on Friday, December 11th at the Holiday Rose Gala. The food will be fabulous, the OVALumination trees will add to the sparkle, the St. Paul Winter Carnival Royalty are scheduled to visit, and best and most exciting of all, Paris Bennett will entertain.
