Brown County, TX. (December 30, 2022)- 70-year-old William Mark Calhoun was killed, and 66-year-old Rhonda Hart Calhoun was injured in a two-vehicle crash on December 28, 2022, in Brown County, Texas. The accident occurred Wednesday evening on U.S. Highway 183 near May, Texas. Police reported that the driver of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz failed to control their speed and rear-ended a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick occupied by the Calhouns. The impact caused the Suzuki to roll several times. Mark was pronounced dead at the scene. Rhonda was transported to Hendrick Hospital with unknown injuries. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
