Denton, TX. (December 1, 2022)- 62-year-old David Lee Philips was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on November 24, 2022, in Denton, Texas. The Accident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on E. University Drive at N. Bell Avenue. Police reported that Philips was struck by an unknown vehicle. Philips was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the crash. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
