Lewisville, TX (January 3, 2020) – At approximately 3:45 a.m., on January 1, authorities responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle Accident on Texas Highway 121.
Reports from police indicate that a GMC Terrain was traveling north along the roadway when it struck a southbound Chevy Cavalier.
The driver of the Cavalier was critically injured in the collision and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The passenger in the Cavalier, who was identified as 25-year-old Jennifer Greer, was rushed to an area hospital where she was declared deceased.
The driver of the Terrain, who was identified as 25-year-old Marissamary Guadalupe Pecina was transported to an area hospital with injuries. After the accident, Pecina was arrested and charged with DWI.
At this time, police are investigating.
