Austin, TX (December 30, 2019) – One pedestrian lost their life in an Accident on Dessau Road.
On December 22, at approximately 2:25 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 11200 block of Dessau Road.
Reports from police indicate that 22-year-old Elvin Diaz-Felipe was attempting to cross the roadway, near the intersection of Braker Lane, when he was struck by a 2008 Toyota Camry.
Diaz-Felipe incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
At this time, APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit is investigating.
