Austin, TX – Fire on Banister Ln Left Two Injured

Austin, TX (September 19, 2019) – On September 19, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major three-alarm fire at an apartment complex located at 4004 Banister Ln near US 290.

According to reports, for unknown reasons, the complex was engulfed in flames. A resident located at a nearby dwelling jumped out of a window to escape the flames. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

One firefighter was treated at the scene for dehydration.

Damages are expected to be in the tens of thousands. Although no people lost their lives in this incident, several animals were reported deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
