Houston, TX (August 13, 2019) – At approximately 8 p.m. on August 12, a man and his wife drove up to a gas station, located in the 9500 block of Woodfair Drive.
While the man ran in the store to pay, a second man jumped into the driver’s side seat of his vehicle.
The husband jumped onto the car in an effort to prevent the suspect from driving the vehicle away with his wife inside. The suspect began swerving the vehicle. The husband flew off the vehicle and was then pinned between his own car and a minivan.
Both of the man’s legs incurred very serious injuries and had to have tourniquets applied while being transported to an area hospital.
The man’s wife, as well as the driver of the minivan, were both injured in the incident.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
